LIVE, WORK & EXHIBIT IN GREECE

Agora Art Space is a private initiative dedicated to supporting artists by providing them with the opportunity to live, work and exhibit their art in Koroni.

This initiative aims to foster atristic creativity and cultural exchange by offering a unique and inspiring environment for a certain period of time. 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Agora Art Space welcomes artists working in the fields of Fine Arts and Applied Arts. We encourage residents to share their creative process through exhibitions or open studios during their stay. As part of the residency agreement, each artist is invited to donate one work of their choice to the Agora Art Space Archive, contributing to an evolving collective of artistic expression. Our space is also open to established artists who wish to engage with the local community and environment. For them, exhibitions and open studios are likewise encouraged, and the same archive contribution applies.

What the Residency includes

  • Residency Space: living accommodation in Koroni, Greece for artists during their stay (200km from Athens Airport & 50km from Kalamata Airport)

  • Private bedroom with own bathroom​

  • Kitchen

  • Studio: workspace where artists can focus on their creative projects.

  • Support through one-to-one meetings to discuss your progress and artistic development

  • Exhibition Venue: A gallery space for artists to showcase their work to the public, fostering appreciation and engagement with the arts.

Please note that art supplies, travel expenses, and insurance are not covered by Agora Art Space.

Who can apply

  • Artists working in fine arts and applied arts

  • Open to emerging and established artists

  • Residents are encouraged to share their work through exhibitions or open studios

  • One artwork contributed to the Agora Art Space Archive
